Processing & Returns

How is my Order Processed?

We will send you an order confirmation email as soon as you place your order. At this point, your order is in our system and your credit card is pre-authorized for purchase. We immediately reach out to the supplier to confirm that the item is in stock and available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days). Once confirmed, we will process the transaction and submit the order for shipment.

If for any reason your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the credit card pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail to notify you about the situation.

When will my order ship?

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within 2-5 business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided at check out. If you don’t receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at info@esternahome.com.

We do not ship outside of the lower 48 United States.

How will my order ship?

Orders for large or heavy items ship via a trucking carrier. We will send you a tracking number as soon as one is provided by the carrier. The Freight Carrier or Trucking company will contact you to set up an appointment time before delivering. For large & heavy items, it is recommended to have help with unloading the shipment. The default shipping method is curb-side delivery.

How long until I receive my order?

You will receive a tracking number within 24 hours of your shipment leaving the warehouse. The tracking number will have an estimated delivery date for your order.

We promise to do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible. We provide estimate shipping times on the product pages based on the information provided by our suppliers and shipping partners. Estimated shipping times may change or vary without notice.

Order delays have proven to be unavoidable and outside of our control. While we understand this is frustrating, we ask you to be patient and understanding with us in these tough times.

How can I check the status of my order?

If you have any questions about the status of your order, we recommend to first use your tracking number to track the package with the carrier.

You can reach out to us directly at info@esternahome.com with any other questions or concerns regarding the status of your order.

Package Inspection & Damaged Packaging –

Please inspect your package upon delivery. If there is obvious damage, please note the damages on the delivery receipt. Contact us within 72 hours to report the damage, by either e-mail or phone. Please retain all original boxes and packaging and take pictures of all damage. Forward all items to us at info@esternahome.com so that we can file a freight damage claim on your behalf.

Cancellation & Refunds –

You may cancel your order anytime before your order has shipped for a full refund (some exceptions apply, including custom orders). Please reach out to info@esternahome.com or send us a chat so that we may process the cancellation ASAP. Our agents are available to chat during regular business hours and we are always monitoring our inbox.

If you cancel your order after it has shipped, we will charge you an additional fee to re-route the shipment to the supplier.

Returns and Exchanges:

We allow exchanges and returns on certain products. Because we order directly from the manufacturer, our return and exchange policy depends on the return and exchange policy of the manufacturer. If the manufacturer does not permit us to return a product, then we cannot offer you a return. Please reach out to us to inquire about your specific brand / product. Our email address is info@esternahome.com and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Custom orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges because these products are made specifically for you, the customer. All sales are final for Custom Made and Made-to-Order products. If you are unsure if your product is custom made, please reach out to us.

Due to drastically increasing LTL/freight shipping costs, any outright return will incur a 25% handling fee + return shipping costs. You as the customer are responsible for this cost. If you are replacing the product with something else, we may be able to help you cover some of the costs depending on the product.

Cancellation of Custom Orders

Custom or made to order products cannot be cancelled or refunded as these products are put into production specifically for your order. Once you place your order, the manufacturer will start building your unit. Your warranty will guarantee you a fully functional and operational product. If it is not clear whether your order is custom or made to order, please reach out to info@esternahome.com or send us a chat. All sales are final for Custom made and Made-to-Order products.

When will I receive my refund?

All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment. If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within 7-10 business days of receipt of the returned item or cancellation request. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account. If you haven’t received a credit for your return yet, we suggest that you contact your bank/credit card company. It may take some time before the refund is posted to your account based on their policies.

Warranty:

The product warranties that apply to your purchase depend on the manufacturer. See individual product pages for details and reach out to us with any questions. Products that are damaged on arrival must be reported ASAP and do not qualify as a warranty claim.
